6 Traits That Make Great Teams
I’ve been going through some of the leadership material that I’ve shared with our Leadership Team here at Faith Renewed. Over the next several weeks I’m going to share some of it with you. I’ve gotten some of this material from great leaders that have influenced my life. Some of it I’ve put together. Either way, I hope it encourages you and can help equip you in some way.
1. COMMITMENT—to the team or group (If you are not committed then things tend to fall apart.)
2. TRUST—to do the job (Teams have to be able to trust each other to get their responsibilities done.)
3. PURPOSE—knowing why the team is in place and what the individual’s purpose is within the team
4. COMMUNICATION—all must communicate well with and to each other
5. INVOLVEMENT—each team member has a role to play and must stay committed in doing their job all the time
6. PROCESS ORIENTATION—everyone has a role and each person must take part in making new things happen once they are implemented

Faith is such a BIG WORD! Without it the Bible says that it’s impossible to please God. Through Faith, our salvation comes, the mountains in our life are removed, and the miraculous takes place. With so much riding on this one Word, we need to know what Our Faith is…
A couple of weeks ago I kicked off a Series at Faith Renewed entitled, Our Faith.
We are taking a close look at just how important faith is in our everyday life.
This past Sunday, I opened up the floor for a testimony of how Our Faith is effecting our life…
What happened next was INCREDIBLE! This wasn’t your usual, “pray for me, the devil is on my back” testimony service. One after another people began to come to the mic to share what God is doing in their life. Below are just a few of the things we heard…
One man shared, “6 months ago I didn’t believe in God. 3 months ago, He saved me.” PRAISE GOD!
One lady shared, “God delivered me from an addiction.” AMEN!
We heard stories of forgiveness, deliverance, healing, and restoration! Even those that are still in the middle of their struggle, spoke The Word of God over their situation and understand that they are not going to stay there!
This is Our Faith! This is what happens when we choose to believe again! Believe that God is Who He says He is. Believe that His promises are for His children and that He can’t lie!
What are you believing God for? You may be one step away from the answer. One prayer away from the miracle that you once asked for. Don’t stop!
What seems impossible to men is not impossible to God. (Luke 18:27)
You can’t tell me that God is not real! That His Word is not true and that He doesn’t still do miracles today!
I’ve seen too much…
I’ve heard too many things…
I’ve experienced too much…
This isn’t just something He’s doing or wanting to do in one church. This is what He wants to do in The Church!
The Church He lived for, died for, rose for, and is coming back for!
There are no limits to what HE can do!
This is, Our Faith!
Running The Race…
This past Sunday I kicked off a new Series entitled Running The Race.
Hebrews 12:1 says that we are to run with endurance the race that is set before us…
There is a course set in front of you right now. God has it laid out. According to The Word of God there are some INCREDIBLE things not only on that path but at the end of the path. With that being said, why do so many people refuse to get on that track?
There are many things that keep us from the prize. I covered several of them in our last Series entitled, SEVEN. We are called to lay aside the weight and the sin that so easily ensnares. What’s holding you down today? What’s knocked you off the course?
The great thing about grace, is that God loves us when we fall and will give us the strength to get back in the race if we will call on Him.

I will run the race set before me.
I will seek Your face
As the prize of my life.
I will run.
