Just a couple of things to share today…
 
I first of all want to thank everyone that brought out shoes for our Soles for Souls Shoe Drive for Monaview Elementary.
FROC you are the greatest!  You’re heart for Outreach is incredible!
If you would still like to give, you can do so this Sunday as well.  
This is going to be such a blessing to those in need.

I’m so excited about what we’re seeing God do on Sundays at FROC!
We are seeing new faces weekly and live are being changed.
That will NEVER get old to me!
Keep sharing your story and inviting them in and we will keep telling them about Jesus.
 
I’m teaching part 4 of Who Am I this weekend. 
You don’t want to miss it!
This week we will hear about what happens when we understand our true identity in HIM!

Sunday Night Reflections…

A few thoughts from a great weekend…

  • I turned 40 this week.  WOW!  Still feels weird to say that.  I guess I better get use to it.  Some folks from church threw a surprise party for me last night,  I had a great time!  I love spending time with my Church Family.  Thank you to EVERYONE that came out and helped make that happen.  BIG THANK YOU to Ms. Donna & Siau for all of your hard work to pull that off!!!
  • Congratulations to my baby girl!  She made the Varsity Cheerleading Team at her High School today.  I’m proud of you! (They grow up WAY too fast)
  • We had an awesome Service today at Faith Renewed!  The worship ROCKED as always!  The songs just flowed together.  Each one was bragging on how good our God is.  You know what happens when we do that, HE SHOWS UP!
  • I continued the Series Who Am I?  An awesome Word God has given me on helping us understand our true identity in Christ.  Psalms 139:13&14 says, for You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
  • God has a plan for your life.  You are not an accident!  Before you ever took your first breath, He knew you!  I’m about to get happy just thinking about that.
  • The best part of the weekend is that lives were changed!!!  Some folks got their tickets for the box seats! (Had to be there) The view is always better from there and the food is great!
  • I love what I do!  I have people tell me often that they wouldn’t have my job.  I can’t see me doing anything else.
  • Can’t wait to see what HE does next…

My First Blog!

I’m writing my first blog today!

I’m not really sure why I waited so long to do this…  I’ve always enjoyed reading the thoughts of other leaders and people who share common interests. I just never really thought of putting my own thoughts down in writing for others to read.  I guess the main reason, is that I know that those reading what you’ve written, may not may always receive it the way you’re sending it…  When I talk to someone “in person” I can see their facial expression and body language and hopefully help them understand exactly what I mean.

Regardless of all that, I’m looking forward to sitting down from time to time and sharing some of my thoughts with you and letting you into my world.  I’m not sure how often I will blog yet.  Monthly, weekly, daily, who knows?  Either way, I hope that I can say something that will encourage you in some way and help you know the God that I love and serve a little better.
