We kicked off a new Series this past Sunday at Faith Renewed entitled, I Quit. God is using this Word in a BIG way! We are hearing great reports of life change that’s taking place!
Seems like so many times, we quit doing the things we need to, instead of the ones that ultimately holds us back.
WE QUIT:
The list could go on & on… However, there are some things in our lives that we need to quit!
We made the decision this past Sunday to quit making excuses. Each of us are on this earth for a reason, & God has a plan for our lives.
Moses was called by God to set an entire nation free. He wanted to uses his speech issues as a way out his calling. God told Moses to GO, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say.
What’s stopping you from reaching your destiny?
Do what you can do, & trust God to do what you can’t do.
YOUR life has a purpose!
Someone sent me this. I thought it was so good, I had to share it with you.
How to stay safe in the world today!
Where is the safest place?
But…….
You will be pleased to learn, that only .001% of all deaths occur in worship services in church, and these are usually related to a previous physical disorder.
Therefore, logic tells us that the safest place for you to be at any given point in time, is at CHURCH!
See you Sunday!
Last night at Faith Renewed, I had the opportunity to fill in for our Student Pastor, while he was tanning on a beach off the Atlantic Ocean.
I had a blast! I love young people, & always enjoy spending time with them…
We looked at 2 portions of scripture, Genesis 4:7 & Revelation 3:20. Both passages refer to doors, but there’s a BIG difference in what’s behind each one…
In Genesis, we see that “sin lies” at that door. The original language here, shows sin as a crazed animal at the doorstep.
In Revelation, Jesus Himself is standing at that door, waiting to come inside and have a relationship with you.
The night was complete with our very own rendition of the game show, Let’s Make A Deal (Monty Hall would have been proud).
Unlike the game show, we don’t have to wonder what’s behind the doors we choose in our Spiritual life. We don’t know all of the details, & all of the different obstacles we will face along the way, but we can know Who will be with us…
So, Let’s Make A Deal!
