Is the title of a great country song from the 90’s by Radney Foster. (I always thought Radney was underrated)
Also, a popular saying, that I’ve let roll off my tongue a few times.
Have you ever stopped, and thought about the truth in those words?
It’s a lot easier to SAY, I’m going to:
What if we actually did what we said? How much more would we accomplish? How would our life be different?
What would our relationship with Jesus look like?
I often say, if it was easy, everyone would do it. That’s true when it comes to discipleship…
Dietrich Bonhoeffer said it best, “Salvation is free, but discipleship will cost you your life.”
Discipleship takes our time, effort, energy, money, and the list could go on… It’s expensive, but worth it.
Jesus said to make disciples. That’s His first call on our life. That’s WAY easier said, than done, but it can happen.
Get in His presence, seek Him, & read His Word.
Discover just how exciting the journey can be!
Don’t let your epitaph, read like this sign I saw in a restaurant.
I was praying this morning for the those that don’t have a relationship with Jesus, and this song came to my mind.
If you don’t HIM, don’t wait! Following Jesus is the best decision you will ever make.
Hard to believe this was 17 years ago. Time goes quick. Make the most of it.
I’ve been teaching a Series at Faith Renewed for the last 19 weeks entitled, The Parable.
A parable is a small story, with a BIG idea. We’ve been dealing strictly with the parables that Jesus taught. (I LOVE the red letters!)
There’s A LOT we can learn from these stories.
Over the next few weeks, I will be posting some of the main points from these Messages. You can also check them out on our website, or iTunes.
This week I spoke from John Chapter 10.
Here are a few thoughts…
What have you learned from His Parables?
This is my 14 year old son at his middle school talent show.
You can’t upload video straight to Facebook or Twitter from iPad2… So I used my blog.
Where there’s a will there’s a way.
