He’s Alive!
We just celebrated my favorite “holiday” this past Sunday!
I absolutely LOVE Easter and what it truly represents! The eggs, fat bunny, & candy are all great! Those are all a lot of fun and great tools that open doors to tell people about the true reason for this Season.
This is a time when we focus on the FACT that Jesus is ALIVE! Of the 4 major “religions” that are based on a person, Christianity is the ONLY one that has a Leader that is not in the grave today…
1. Buddhism is based on Buddha. The Buddha is still hanging out in his grave in India.
2. Judaism is based on Abraham. Who by the way was a great man, but his grave is still occupied today in the city of Hebron.
3. Islam is based on Muhammad. His dead body still lies in a tomb in Medina.
4. Christianity was founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
The interesting thing about this, is that the most popular Man in the world, has no grave! He doesn’t need one! YES, He died, and His body was placed in a borrowed tomb, but today that tomb is empty!
In His own words in the Book of Revelation chapter 1 verse 18 Jesus said, “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”
I’m so thankful that I pray to, walk with, rely on, & trust in, a Leader that LIVES!
He’s ALIVE! PASS IT ON!!!
