Man Up!
The word Man by definition means: an adult male person, as distinguished from a boy or a woman.
The Lord hit me with a hard thought that I shared with our men at Faith Renewed.
1 Corinthians13:11 says:
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
As men we are supposed to be different…
There should be a distinguished difference from us and a boy or a woman. It’s not a body part or facial hair that should separate us, but our actions.
We should be leading the way in our homes, businesses, and in the church.
We are called to be the first ones that worship The Lord, give to Him with our finances & time, and serve others…
When I was a kid, I loved it when my parents gave to me, but I grew up and now have children of my own. Now I’m the one that’s doing the giving.
So I have to take a hard look at my life and answer these questions:
Am I speaking different?
Is my understanding different?
Am I thinking different?
Have I put away childish things?
I say this with all the love in my heart, LET’S MAN UP!
