FACADE: an outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a less pleasant reality.

3 KEYS TO OVERCOME The Facade

• TELL YOURSELF THE TRUTH.
  Whether it’s pride, fear or a combination of the two…we need to be honest with ourselves. We can become so good at lying… we actually begin to believe them. Take the mask off. Look in the mirror. Be honest! God never looked at you and wish He saw someone else.

• TELL SOMEONE ELSE.
  This is HUGE! We need each other. Find someone that you can be honest with and ask them to be honest with you! We need people in our life that will call us out when we need it…and give us a hug when that’s what it needed.

• BE THERE FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
  There will be times you need someone to be there for you and times when you will need to be there for others. Don’t ever get too caught up in your situation that miss the opportunity to encourage someone else in need.
